Overview
PSA oxygen generators pass clean, dry compressed air through twin adsorber towers filled with zeolite molecular sieve, which adsorbs nitrogen and lets oxygen pass to a buffer tank. The towers alternate between adsorption and regeneration under automatic control to give a continuous supply. They provide an on-site alternative to delivered liquid or cylinder oxygen and can be combined with a booster compressor for cylinder filling.
