Overview
LPG bullet tanks store propane, butane or mixtures as a liquid under their own vapour pressure, so they are designed, built and tested as pressure vessels. Key selection criteria are water capacity, design pressure and temperature, shell material and thickness, design code, fittings (relief valves, level gauges, excess-flow and emergency shut-off valves) and the local regulatory approval route.
