Overview
ISO tank containers combine a pressure-rated stainless steel tank with a standard 20 ft container frame, so bulk liquids can be moved intermodally and also used as temporary site storage. The UN portable tank code (such as T11) sets minimum test pressure, shell thickness and bottom-opening requirements for the cargo classes allowed. Selection depends on capacity, tank code, maximum allowable working pressure, heating and insulation needs, valve arrangement and approvals.
