Overview
Bulk cryogenic tanks have a stainless steel inner vessel inside a carbon or stainless steel outer shell, with vacuum and powder insulation between them to limit heat ingress and boil-off. Selection turns on the stored medium, the usable volume, the working pressure class and whether a vertical or horizontal layout suits the site.
