Overview
Steel-lined plastic tanks pair a structural carbon-steel shell with a seamless polyethylene inner lining, combining the chemical resistance of PE with the strength and impact resistance of steel. They store acids, alkalis and oxidisers in water treatment, chemical and mining operations. Selection depends on the chemical, its concentration and temperature, lining material and thickness, shell thickness, orientation, and the valves and manholes required.
