PSA nitrogen generator with two white adsorber towers, a central control panel with gauges and touchscreen, a nitrogen receiver tank and pneumatic valves, in a factory workshop

FGR-TPV-017 Tanks, vessels and gas equipment

PSA nitrogen generator, up to 99.9999% purity, 5 to 200 Nm³/h

A pressure swing adsorption system that separates nitrogen from compressed air on site, supplying nitrogen gas at selectable purities.

  • Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
  • Warranty and support set out in your quotation
  • Freight to your site or port available

Overview

PSA nitrogen generators pass compressed, filtered air through twin adsorber towers filled with carbon molecular sieve, which retains oxygen and lets nitrogen pass to a receiver. The towers alternate between adsorption and regeneration under automatic control, and purity can be traded against flow rate. They replace delivered liquid or cylinder nitrogen for inerting, blanketing, purging and packaging.

Typical applications

  • Food packaging and modified atmosphere
  • Laser cutting assist gas
  • Inerting, purging and tank blanketing
  • Electronics and metal heat treatment
  • Mine and process-plant fire suppression and inerting
