Overview
A full-body harness spreads arrest forces across the thighs, pelvis, chest and shoulders and is the body-holding component of a personal fall-arrest system, used with a lanyard or self-retracting lifeline and a suitable anchor. Selection depends on the attachment points needed (dorsal for fall arrest, side or waist for positioning), user weight including tools, adjustability and comfort for the duration of use, and the compatibility of connectors.
