Overview
Impact wrenches deliver rapid rotational blows to tighten or break loose threaded fasteners with little reaction torque at the operator's hands. Selection depends on the drive size, the torque needed for the fastener sizes in use, battery platform and capacity, and tool weight for prolonged use; impact wrenches are not precision torque tools, so critical joints should be finished with a calibrated torque wrench.
