Overview
Tie-rod cylinders are the standard industrial cylinder for presses, machine tools and automation because they are easy to strip and reseal and come in many mounting styles. Selection depends on the force required (bore and working pressure), stroke, rod diameter for buckling resistance, mounting style, cushioning, seal materials for the fluid and temperature, and port size.
