FGR-PVH-002 Pumps, valves and hydraulics
Horizontal centrifugal slurry pump
A heavy-duty, cantilevered horizontal centrifugal pump with replaceable wear-resistant liners for pumping abrasive mineral slurries.
- Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
- Warranty and support set out in your quotation
- Freight to your site or port available
Overview
Slurry pumps use thick-section impellers and casings in high-chrome alloy or moulded rubber liners to withstand abrasive solids carried in water. They are typically belt- or direct-driven by electric motors and sized for solids passage, wear life and the required head and flow. They move tailings, mill discharge, cyclone feed and other slurries in mineral processing plants.
Typical applications
- Mill discharge and cyclone feed
- Tailings transfer
- Thickener underflow
- Dredging and sand handling
- Ash and coal slurry handling
