Overview
Borehole pumps are long, slim multistage units sized to fit inside the well casing, with the motor below the pump end and cooled by the water flowing past it. Selection is driven by the required flow at the total dynamic head (pumping water level plus delivery pressure and pipe losses), the borehole diameter, water quality (sand content and temperature) and the available electrical supply.
