Overview
Refrigerated dryers chill compressed air in a heat exchanger, separate and drain the condensed water, then reheat the air before it leaves. They are sized on flow at the actual inlet temperature, working pressure and ambient temperature, and they typically reach a pressure dew point of a few degrees above freezing; lower dew points need a desiccant dryer.
