Overview
A diesel generator set combines a diesel engine, brushless alternator, control panel and fuel system into a self-contained power unit. Silent (canopy) versions add an acoustic enclosure for use near buildings and workplaces, while open sets are installed in plant rooms. They provide standby power during grid outages and prime power at remote sites without a reliable supply.
