FGR-EIC-007 Electrical and instrumentation
80 GHz radar level transmitter
A non-contact level instrument that measures the distance to a liquid or solid surface using frequency-modulated radar and outputs a level signal.
- Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
- Warranty and support set out in your quotation
- Freight to your site or port available
Overview
FMCW radar transmitters in the 76-81 GHz band produce a narrow beam, which helps avoid tank internals and suits both liquids and bulk solids. Selection depends on the measuring range, process temperature and pressure, the material's dielectric properties, antenna and process connection, output signal and any hazardous-area or functional-safety requirements.
Typical applications
- Liquid level in storage and process tanks
- Bulk solids level in silos and bins
- Sumps and wet wells
- Chemical and fuel tanks
