Low-voltage switchgear and motor control centre

Floor-standing low-voltage withdrawable switchgear assembly that combines power distribution (PC) and motor control centre (MCC) cubicles for AC 50 Hz plant distribution systems.

  • Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
  • Warranty and support set out in your quotation
  • Freight to your site or port available

Overview

A low-voltage motor control centre groups motor starters, feeders and protection devices into a common, busbar-fed multi-cubicle enclosure, so that many drives across a plant can be supplied, switched and protected from one location. Withdrawable (draw-out) designs let individual functional units be isolated and removed for maintenance while the rest of the board stays energised. Key selection parameters are rated operational and insulation voltage, main and distribution busbar current, short-time and peak withstand current, enclosure protection degree and the applicable assembly standard.

Typical applications

  • Motor starting and protection for pumps, fans and conveyors
  • Main and sub-distribution of LV power in plants
  • Centralised control of process drives
  • Power distribution in substations and industrial buildings
