FGR-EIC-010 Electrical and instrumentation
Head-mounted temperature transmitter, 4-20 mA/HART
A compact transmitter fitted in a sensor connection head that converts an RTD or thermocouple signal into a 4-20 mA output with HART communication.
- Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
- Warranty and support set out in your quotation
- Freight to your site or port available
Overview
Head-mounted transmitters sit in the terminal head of a temperature sensor assembly and send a robust 4-20 mA signal to the control system, avoiding long low-level sensor cable runs. Selection depends on the sensor input type and range, accuracy and stability, isolation, supply voltage, communication protocol and hazardous-area needs.
Typical applications
- Process temperature measurement in pipes and vessels
- Boiler, steam and heat-exchanger monitoring
- Tank temperature in food and beverage plants
- Bearing and machine temperature monitoring
