Automatic transfer switch 630 A, 4-pole
A switching device that automatically moves a load between mains supply and a standby generator when the normal supply fails or returns.
- Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
- Warranty and support set out in your quotation
- Freight to your site or port available
Overview
Automatic transfer switches (ATS) monitor the normal supply and, on failure, transfer the load to an alternative source such as a generator, then transfer back when the normal supply is restored. Selection depends on the rated current and voltage, number of poles (a 4-pole unit also switches the neutral), utilisation category, short-circuit withstand rating and the controller functions required.
Typical applications
- Generator standby changeover for buildings
- Dual-supply changeover for critical loads
- Pump stations and telecoms sites
- Hospitals and data rooms
