FGR-MHL-007 Material handling and lifting
Wire rope electric hoist, 5 t
A motor-driven hoist that winds a steel wire rope on a drum to lift loads, usually running on a trolley along an I-beam or crane girder.
- Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
- Warranty and support set out in your quotation
- Freight to your site or port available
Overview
Wire rope hoists lift heavier loads, higher and faster than chain hoists and are the usual lifting unit on single-girder overhead, gantry and jib cranes. Selection depends on capacity, lifting height, lifting and travel speeds (single or dual speed), duty classification for the expected number of lifts, beam flange size, power supply and the controls and protection required.
Typical applications
- Lifting unit for single-girder overhead and gantry cranes
- Jib crane hoisting
- Workshop and warehouse lifting
- Plant maintenance lifting
