Overview
Counterbalance forklifts carry loads on forks ahead of the front axle, balanced by a heavy counterweight at the rear, and lift them on a telescopic mast. Diesel and LPG models suit outdoor yards and heavy-duty indoor use where electric charging is impractical. They are specified by rated capacity, load centre, lift height, mast type, engine and tyres.
