Overview
Single-girder bridge cranes carry an electric wire-rope or chain hoist on a trolley running along one box or I-section girder, while end carriages travel the length of the building on runway rails. They give three-axis coverage of a workshop or warehouse bay for loads typically up to about 20 t. They are specified by capacity, span, lifting height, travel and lifting speeds, duty class and power supply.
