FGR-MHL-008 Material handling and lifting

Pillar-mounted slewing jib crane, 5 t

A free-standing column with a rotating horizontal arm carrying a hoist, giving lifting coverage over a circular work area.

  • Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
  • Warranty and support set out in your quotation
  • Freight to your site or port available

Overview

Pillar jib cranes serve individual workstations, machine tools and loading bays where an overhead crane would be impractical or too costly. Selection depends on capacity, arm length (outreach), height under the arm, slewing angle and whether slewing is manual or powered, the hoist type and speeds, and the foundation needed to resist the overturning moment.

Typical applications

  • Machine tool loading and unloading
  • Workstation and assembly lifting
  • Loading bays and docks
  • Maintenance workshops
