Overview
Carbonators (carbo-coolers or CO2 mixers) blend treated water with syrup at a fixed ratio, cool the product and saturate it with carbon dioxide under pressure so that the drink reaches the target carbonation level before the filler. Selection is based on output, target CO2 volumes, syrup-to-water ratio range, chilled-water supply temperature and the integration with deaeration and the filling line.
