Rockwell hardness tester

FGR-MFG-007 Process and manufacturing machinery

Manual Rockwell hardness tester

A bench-top instrument that measures the Rockwell hardness of metals by pressing an indenter into the test piece under set loads.

  • Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
  • Warranty and support set out in your quotation
  • Freight to your site or port available

Overview

Rockwell testers are the standard quick check of hardness for heat-treated steels, castings and non-ferrous parts in workshops and quality laboratories. Manual dial models need no power supply; selection depends on the scales needed (HRA, HRB, HRC), the size of test pieces, and whether digital readout or automatic loading is required.

Typical applications

  • Incoming material inspection
  • Heat-treatment verification
  • Quality control of machined parts
  • Teaching and laboratory testing
