Overview
Jaw crushers are normally the first stage in a crushing circuit, reducing run-of-mine rock or quarry stone to a size suitable for secondary crushers or mills. The feed opening limits the largest lump that can be accepted; selection also depends on required throughput, discharge setting range, rock hardness and drive (electric or diesel).
