Overview
Spray dryers turn solutions, emulsions and suspensions into free-flowing powder, and are used for milk, coffee, extracts, pigments and resins. Size is quoted as water evaporation capacity; selection also depends on heat source, inlet and outlet air temperatures, product heat sensitivity and the powder collection system.
