Overview
Water-cooled screw chillers suit medium to large chilled-water loads where a cooling tower or other condenser water source is available, and generally run at lower condensing temperatures than air-cooled units. Selection depends on the design cooling load, chilled and condenser water temperatures, part-load operation, plant-room space and refrigerant.
