Modular air handling unit

FGR-HVR-010 HVAC and refrigeration

Direct-expansion combined air handling unit

A modular sectional air handling unit with a direct-expansion cooling coil, filtration, heating and optional humidification, served by a matched outdoor condensing unit.

  • Specification confirmed with the OEM before you order
  • Warranty and support set out in your quotation
  • Freight to your site or port available

Overview

Combined (modular) air handling units are built from sections such as mixing, filtration, coil, fan, heating and humidification, configured to the duty. Direct-expansion units use refrigerant in the coil instead of chilled water. Selection depends on airflow and external static pressure, cooling and heating loads, required temperature and humidity tolerances, and filtration grade.

Typical applications

  • Pharmaceutical and clean production areas
  • Laboratories needing temperature and humidity control
  • Chemical plant control and process rooms
  • Industrial workshops
