Oxygen tank questions

Which tank holds 1,000 kg of liquid oxygen?

Two options fit: a framed 1,000 L liquid cylinder that holds up to 1,010 kg of liquid oxygen, and a 1 m³ micro-bulk tank that holds up to 1,083 kg. Both are vacuum-insulated stainless steel vessels from Hong Hui Machinery, for which FGR Online is the registered distributor for Southern Africa.

Can the oxygen tank be moved by forklift?

The 1,000 L liquid cylinder is built inside a steel frame for forklift handling, and the micro-bulk tank stands on a base frame. The design package states the lifting points and whether the tank may be moved when full.

Why do breweries need an oxygen tank?

Breweries add oxygen to cooled wort so yeast can grow before fermentation, and use oxygen in other process steps. A liquid oxygen tank replaces banks of high-pressure cylinders with one refillable vessel.

Do you deliver oxygen tanks to Zimbabwe?

Yes. We supply customers in Zimbabwe, including Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru and Mutare, with delivery by road through Beitbridge or to the port of your choice, quoted with the tank.

What do you need from us to quote?

The oxygen mass you need (for example 1,000 kg), your daily consumption, the pressure and flow at your existing oxygen distribution system, the delivery town, and any standard your site requires.
